In regard to the analytic tools and other tools used to operate our apps, your continued use of our apps constitutes your acceptance and agreement to this Policy and any updates. In regard to your contact information which you provide to purchase or trial our apps, you consent to us using it to send you email messages.
Our apps do not explicitly collect specific personal information; however, our apps may be used to manage data which contains (without our specific knowledge) personal information. The technical operation of our apps may collect information considered personal, such as email information, billing information, IP addresses, telephone numbers, and other information. Our apps in some cases use web cookies for data collection and as part of their function. You are not required to accept cookies, but some aspects of our apps may fail to function if you disable cookies.
Analytic and advertising tools
Our apps use third-party analytic and error-tracking tools. These tools may also collect data passively; such data collection is covered by their privacy policies. See our data processor list for specific entities.
User identity information
Our apps sometimes receive user identity information from Atlassian APIs. We cache this data for a limited time to deliver good performance, but do not store it permanently.
We do not offer any apps specific to children, and do not knowingly or intentionally collect any personally identifiable information for children under the age of 13.
We use the information collected in several ways. We communicate with our customers and prospective customers using the contact information provided by Atlassian to apps. We adjust and optimize the performance of our systems using analytic and monitoring information. We provide various software functions which require and use this information.
We do not share this information with third parties except in certain narrow ways.
Our apps (products) are hosted via various service providers. The service providers will therefore come into possession of this information, but we make best efforts to ensure the service providers are obligated not to use or disclose any such information except as required in the process of providing their services to us.
We may disclose personal information if we have a good faith belief that we are required to do so by law. Similarly, we may disclose personal information as necessary or appropriate to prevent violations of our terms or license agreements, to protect against liability, to protect other rights, property, or safety of any individual or the general public; Or to protect ourselves or our sites, products, or services against fraudulent, unlawful or abusive uses, or in investigations of the above, or to assist any regulatory agencies as required.
Change of ownership
Information in our possession, including personal information may be included in any company sale, merger, transfer of assets, acquisition, or other similar transaction.
We take reasonable measures to ensure the security of systems which store personal information. In the specific case of the most sensitive information (such as credit card payment information), we typically completely delegate the storages use of this information to service providers who specialize in such secure storage and operations.
We use your email or other contact information for transactional notifications around any purchase related to an Expium app or other offering.
We also use your email for occasional marketing updates; by your request, either via our website or in person. From each such email you can click to unsubscribe.
GDPR and other regulatory compliance
Although Expium primarily operates in the USA, our apps can be used by customers around the world. We aim to comply with all suitable local regulation around privacy of your data. Please contact us with any concern.
