The Calendar Sync for Jira addon generates iCalendar feeds from Jira issues. It's easy to use, with flexible configuration and access control. The feeds may be imported to any application which supports iCalendar. The feeds will reflect updates in Jira and keep the calendars up to date. How does it work?
How does it work?
You can create a number of configurations. Each of them defines a query and transformation process that will extract issues from Jira, generate iCalendar feeds and make them available to users. Extraction happens automatically, keeping the feeds up to date.
Each calendar gets a unique address. The URL is publicly available, so it can be accessed by any calendar application you need. However, it is impossible to guess, providing reasonable security. This approach is in wide use for sharing resources on the web.
